Privacy policy
We handle your personal data carefully and process it only when there is an objective reason to do so. This policy explains what data is generated when you visit our website, what happens to your enquiries and what rights you have under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (DSG).
In brief
No advertising or tracking cookies, no analytics services and no sale of data. We collect only what is necessary to operate the website and respond to your enquiry.

This office is directly responsible for all data protection enquiries; no separate data protection adviser has been appointed because there is no processing obligation under Art. 41 DSG.
2. What data we process
When you visit the website
When you access a page, technically necessary access data is processed, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page accessed and your browser type. This data ensures secure and uninterrupted operation. It is not combined with other data or used for advertising.
The website is hosted by Lovable (Lovable Labs AB, Stockholm, Sweden). Lovable processes access data on our behalf and delivers page content through a global delivery network. The infrastructure used to operate the website is located in the EU or in countries with an adequate level of data protection.
When you enquire via a form, email or telephone
When you write to us, we process the information you provide: your name, email address, optional telephone number, the subject of your enquiry and your message. We use this data exclusively to answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, where applicable, carry out the work.
We retain enquiries for up to two years after our last reply and then delete them. Where statutory retention requirements apply – for example, to quotations and invoices – the relevant retention periods apply.
You can reach us by email at any time, including evenings, weekends and public holidays. We are available by telephone Monday to Friday from 08:15 to 17:30.
Google fonts
This website loads fonts (Source Serif 4, Source Sans 3) via Google Fonts. Your IP address is transmitted to Google so that the fonts can be delivered to your browser. Google Fonts does not set any cookies of its own on this website.
Google Reviews
The customer reviews displayed are retrieved by our server from the Geiser Gartenbau Google profile and displayed as text on our website. When you visit this website, no connection to Google is established for this purpose and no personal data is transmitted to Google.
No cookies for advertising or analytics purposes
We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics services, and we do not create user profiles. Cookie consent is therefore not required. If we use analytics tools in future, we will update this privacy policy and obtain your consent where required.
3. Disclosure to third parties
We do not disclose personal data for advertising purposes. Data is disclosed only where necessary to handle your enquiry (for example, hosting, email delivery or accounting) or where legally required. At our customers' request, we submit funding applications to the City of Zurich; in doing so, we forward only the documents required for the application.
4. Your rights under DSG
You have the following rights in relation to us (Art. 25 ff. DSG): access to personal data concerning you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, and the release or transfer of your data. You may also withdraw your consent at any time and object to data processing.
Please preferably send any such requests by email to info@geisergartenbau.ch. We generally respond within 30 days. Proof of identity may be required.
If you believe that your data is being processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (EDÖB).
5. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiries.
6. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated if the website, the services used or legal requirements change. The version published here at any given time is authoritative.
